Background

Coach Leandro "Leo" Peralta

Hailing from the vibrant soccer culture of Buenos Aires, Argentina, Leo Peralta brings a world-class playing background and over a decade of hands-on coaching experience to Post2Post. His journey in the game began at the prestigious Club Atlético Boca Juniors Academy, one of South America's most respected youth development environments, before he went on to compete at the University of Buenos Aires.

After transitioning into coaching, Leo built his reputation across three states — Colorado, California, and Washington — working with goalkeepers at every level, from recreational players just learning the position to serious keepers competing at higher club levels. He holds both a USSF C license and a USC GK Level 2 certification, reflecting his commitment to ongoing professional development as a goalkeeper specialist.

Leo's training philosophy is grounded in game-realistic repetitions — sessions that mirror the situations keepers actually face in matches rather than drills that exist only in practice. Small group sizes are intentional: every keeper deserves real coaching attention, not just a spot in a line.

Post2Post is open to goalkeepers from any club or background. Leo's approach adapts to the player in front of him — whether that's a U8 just discovering the position or a U19 competing at a premier level who wants to sharpen the technical and mental edges of their game.

Coaching Philosophy

How Leo Coaches

Three principles that drive every Post2Post session.

01
Game-Realistic Reps

Every drill mirrors a situation that happens in a real match. Keepers don't practice for practice — they train for the game.

02
Small Groups, Real Attention

Group sizes are kept intentionally small so every keeper gets individual feedback in every session — not just in evaluations.

03
Technical Before Tactical

A keeper can't read the game if their technique breaks under pressure. Leo builds the physical foundation first, then layers in decision-making.
